Lucy’s Telly invites you to contemplate the runner’s exceptional determination to just keep running, till he pulls out the sun, over and over again.
The Runner is a digital time based painting created by Shoili Kanungo. Lucy’s Telly is a wooden and digital device, conceptualised by Shoili Kanungo and designed by Rajat Sodhi. The encasing is a throw back to imaginary stone age tech and mid century modern aesthetics.
In the era of NFT’s, the project shows one way in which a time based digital painting can be given a permanent physical manifestation.
