I was invited by Goethe Institute to conduct a three hour workshop for adults who were part of a writing club and had no prior drawing experience. After a brief writing exercise around questions related to climate change and how it impacts our day to day lives, I asked participants to make an 8 frame story board which they then translated into the zine format. Participants were happy to discover that it was possible to break the ‘fear’ around drawing.
