Live drawing and note taking is an essential part of my practice. The process is exhausting, exhilarating, and meditative, which is why I love doing this. I have to stay in the moment, alert to the words, noises, and physical forms that float around me, selecting and organising the things I want to seal into my pages, and deciding how quickly or slowly I want to do it.
